this matcha is of the highest ceremonial grade, and has a bright green colour, mild taste and smooth texture. 

organically grown and harvested at the foot of Mount Fuji.

the leaves for this matcha, are picked during the spring harvest. prior to being picked, the plants are shaded for 10-14 days, resulting in a matcha high in thiamine and cathechins. 

packaging is non-toxic, food-safe and home-compostable. each pouch contains a small clay desiccant bag to prolong the freshness of the matcha.
